It’s hard to believe it was almost exactly one year ago that we were introducing our newest franchisee for 2018, Ray Rubin. But some of the challenges Ray has overcome during the course of those 12 months are even more surprising. Not the least of which was roof and water damage thanks to Hurricane Florence this past September!
Today, we are happy to share restaurant construction photos taken this week (below) that show great progress being made with our next Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar in Jacksonville, NC! We know that the residents and visitors to Jacksonville will be treated extremely well within this new restaurant, as Ray has experience both as a restaurant manager and as a franchisee, as he stated in this interview from last year. Beyond taking delivery of new equipment and overseeing the construction of his new restaurant, Ray is also preparing for the final stages of Shuckin’ Shack restaurant training set for next month!
While the photos shared below may not quite look like the architetctural renderings we shared back in June, we are confident in Ray’s abilities to show the great people of Jacksonville “A Good Shuckin’ Time” by the time March rolls in! If you are a resident or visit Jacksonville frequently, be sure to follow the brand new Jacksonville, NC Shuckin’ Shack Facebook page for updates on hiring and our official opening dates!
With our announcement about a Central NC foothills franchise being awarded last week, available markets in North Carolina are slowly dwindling year after year. It’s just a matter of time before our franchise teams finds the ideal franchise partner for the Greenville, NC market!
